Massive hat tip to Eureka’s Tom Fredrickson, he of “Old Glory Radio,” for bestowing such an awesome handle upon the Journal:
We’re in good company.
Tom gets a kick out of playing the square, but he’s not really suited for the part. Watch the video and note the goofy, zonked-out grin that wants to take up residence on his mug.
“Imagine the hippie boys and girls just dancing around the park,” he says — somewhat wistfully, if I’m not mistaken. You don’t have to imagine, Tom! There’s a groovy Love-In every afternoon at 1:30! Make it, baby!
Oh, and … freeped!

Boy he’s crazy. Even worse was his praise of the editor!

Dont think I would state your in good company and HSU in the same breath.
You folks are naturally positioned to begin a mailorder business for weed through your publication, it would cut down on the need for ads as the recession draws closer to Humboldt.
Think about it…

There was a lot more “Jones’ than “Copernicus” in that last comment.

he’s got a little point, kinda funny, but unfortunately, last time I checked, the students at Humboldt were not kids. They’re adults (at least the vast majority are by age). So until the triad starts pushing on minors, I’d settle for triad of the politically undiverse. Not as catchy, but better describes the group.
